I’ve been waiting for my ferry to go back to Trondheim, but it keeps being delayed because of the stormy weather. So I decided to not go home, but follow a dream of mine to go an a road trip adventure through Europe. I will meet up with my fellow Flying Seagulls in two weeks in Bulgaria as my final destination. So if you know any places/people/conventions/juggling meetups I should visit on the way, let me know!
I got reminded of ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho in making my decision, it was like it wasn’t meant to be to go home. Instead of fighting against, I try to go with the currents of everchanging energies, listening to ‘the signs of the universe’. I’ve been feeling a need for this kind of travel for a while now, as I have usually taken the fastest, shortest route to my travel destination where there is little to no space for surprises and unexpected events. I’m usually good at creating adventures on a moment to moment basis, so now my intention is to create room for adventure on a bigger scale.
Past pain
I’ve been driving a lot these past couple of days and that’s many hours for meditation. It’s made me realize just how much pain is still left in my body from past relationships - thinking about a certain person or situation and feeling a tension in my heart/solar plexus area. As I’ve been driving I’ve been going into the pain, breathing into it and releasing. I also had an extremely healing moment in Krists Austniekz opera ‘Tagadne’ (Time present) where I felt like I was listening with my body and not with my ears. I somehow felt lighter going out of the opera than when I came in.
Workshop, premiere & CirqueMusique
I’ve had the greatest time in Latvia!! Two weeks packed with projects and swimming at the wonderful amber beaches (I even found some amber in the seagrass!) and performing my solo show as well as two weeks of CirqueMusique. I was interviewed for the documentary of the project and asked the question “What is the biggest lesson you’ve learnt through CiruqeMusique?” and my answer was to trust the process. We have three days to teach the students basic technique and create a performance with music and circus. The first workshop I was so stressed about getting everything ready for the third day but now in the last two I’ve been more calm, knowing that no matter how chaotic the process and research is, everything will fall into place when the time is right. Here is some pictures from what I’ve been through these past weeks
Thanks for reading and please share it with someone who you think deserve a little bit of extra love 🧡
